If you've answered yes, then you may be interested in our newly created role of Community Engagement Coordinator.
We are looking for someone who will take the lead in coming up with ideas how to Stockport Pride can have a better presence in the many communities of Stockport, especially the LGBTQ+ community.
The successful candidate should be able to relate to a wide variety of people, forge strong ties with various diverse communities and coordinate activities related to community engagement - with a specific focus on the LGBTQ+ community.

Do you have some experience in events, even if it's voluntary? Know your way around a risk assessment? Do you have some form of a Health and Safety qualification, or are working towards one?
If you've answered yes to all of these questions, Stockport Pride would like to hear from you. We are looking for a Health and Safety Coordinator.
IOSH membership would be beneficial.

Stockport Pride are looking for someone to be responsible for social media posts and press releases – in conjunction with organisational guidelines
You must have strong communication skills and be confident enough to liaise with media organisations
