Please note that the route differs slightly from previous years.

If you wish to walk with us please make sure you arrive before noon, as we will be setting off promptly.

We will be meeting from 11:30am on Sunday 2nd June on the Underbanks in Stockport town centre, on the pedestrianised area between Robinsons and the bottom of Mealhouse Brow.

At noon we will be heading towards Merseyway, going straight ahead across the junction at the White Lion. We will turn left at Beaverbrooks, heading towards the covered section of Merseyway.

We turn right at Waterstones, continue through the glass doors, and bear right through Suffragette Square, then following Bridgefield Street towards The Light.

After we pass The Light, we turn right onto Hatton Street, then following Deanery Way past the BHS mural.

Once we are back into the Merseyway precinct, we will turn left at JD Sports. We will continue ahead onto Warren Street in the direction of Asda.

Between Caffe Nero and Savers we will turn right onto Vernon Street up to Stockport Market Place, where we will join the Stockport Pride festivities. If Vernon Street seems a bit steep, you can use the lift at Sports Direct, up to Stockport Market Place.

The parade will be for walkers, wheelchair users and mobility scooters only. Other vehicles will not be permitted.

All of those on the parade should be dressed appropriately. Everyone has the right to feel safe and loved on the Stockport Pride Parade. We will not tolerate any forms of hate speech.
